S2B Architecture was founded in 2025 by Brooks Slocum, Walker Shanklin, and Scott Barnholt—three architects with over a decade of shared experience leading complex projects across the country. Prior to founding S2B, they held senior leadership roles within a national practice, delivering approximately 60 projects nationwide ranging from 400,000 SF laboratory campuses to mixed-use urban developments.
